Police looking for 4 people linked to northwest Las Vegas’ man death

Las Vegas police are looking for four people in connection with what police are calling a burglary that left a man dead in a northwest valley home Monday night.

The call came in at 6:21 p.m. to a home in the 3800 block of White Castle Street, near Fort Apache and Alexander roads, where a man was found dead inside.

The Clark County coroner's office identified him as Todd Tipton, 50, of Las Vegas.

Police said Tipton was the only one in the house when a family member found him shot to death.

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating three men and a woman who were seen in the neighborhood earlier that day.

The first person is described by police as a black man about 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a multicolored bucket-style hat, a dark blue T-shirt and camouflage pants.

The second person is said to be a white man about 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black and red baseball cap, a black T-shirt with a design printed on the front and red shorts.

The third person is a black man about 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a thin build, police said. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

The fourth person is said to a black woman about 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. She was last seen wearing a purple and white tank top and purple capri pants.

This is Metro's 80th homicide for 2015.
