Police seek help finding ‘person of interest’ in credit card fraud case

Police are looking for "a person of interest" in connection with a group accused of using credit cards that weren't theirs in November to make purchases in the south Las Vegas Valley, Metro said Friday.

A person alerted police about the fraudulent transactions and told them that the credit cards were taken from a wallet lost Nov. 15, Metro said in a news release.

Three people began making "high end purchases" the next day, Metro said. One person was caught on surveillance video at one of the businesses.

He's described as being about 25 to 35 years old. His hair was shaved and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with the letters "YSL" on it, Metro said. He also wore blue jeans and brown slippers.

Anyone with information on the case can contact Metro at 702-828-3285. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555, www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
