Police seek man in central valley taxi robbery

Las Vegas police are asking for the public‘s help in locating a man they say robbed a taxi driver at knife point earlier this month.
The July 4 robbery occurred downtown, near the intersection of D Street and Bonanza Road, police wrote in a Thursday release.
A man entered a cab, showed the driver a knife and demanded money before forcing the driver to exit the car.
The robber is described as a 34 to 40-year-old man, who is 5-feet-6-inches tall with a medium build, the release said.
