Segment of U.S. 95 reopens in Henderson after bus catches fire

A bus fire closed northbound lanes on a segment of U.S. Highway 95 in Henderson about two hours Monday afternoon.

Henderson firefighters were called to the 3:40 p.m. blaze that caused about 20 people to be evacuated from a coach tour bus engulfed in smoke on U.S. 95, between Horizon Ridge Parkway and College Drive, department spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said.

No one was injured in the fire.

Traffic cameras showed two of the three lanes were open by 5:30 p.m.
