Clark County Fire Department is on the scene of a southwest valley house fire that sent a huge plume of smoke into the air.
No one was injured in the blaze in the 9100 block of Sapphire Point Avenue, near the 215 and Tropicana Avenue, said Clark County Fire Chief Jon Klassen Friday afternoon.
It started about 3:55 p.m. and was extinguished by 4:30 p.m., Klassen said. But before that, smoke could be seen across the valley.
The fire department is clearing the scene. Traffic is not affected.
