Stratosphere to offer Nevadans free trips to the top

If you’ve ever wanted to view the Las Vegas Valley from the tallest freestanding observation tower in the country, your time is near.

The Stratosphere will offer Nevada residents free passes to its indoor and outdoor observation decks from Feb. 22 through Feb. 28, the resort announced Wednesday.

All you have to do is bring your Nevada ID to the ticket center, near Roxy’s Diner on the first floor of the casino.

Children accompanied by an adult can also get in for free. It’s a value of $56 for a family of four, a news release said.

“We take pride in the Tower’s international iconic status and want the locals who live and work in and around our city to experience the million dollar views for free,” general manager Paul Hobson said in the release.

The tower is open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and stays open until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
