Texas man gets prison time for shooting up Las Vegas bus station

A Texas man was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison for shooting up the downtown Las Vegas bus station in December.

James Abney, 64, pleaded guilty in March to attempted murder and discharging a firearm into a building, both felonies.

Abney of Forney, Texas, was asked to leave the station several times by security guards, but instead he produced a firearm and fired several rounds, both inside and outside the terminal, authorities said. No one was injured.
