Woman in wheelchair struck, killed by pickup identified

A woman in a wheelchair who was struck and killed by a pickup truck on Friday was identified by the Clark County coroner's office on Sunday.
Pamela Josephine Martino, 60, of Las Vegas, died from injuries to her torso, the coroner's office said.
Police and medical crews were called to the crash at 4:23 a.m., near the intersection of Desert Inn Road and Nellis Boulevard, Metro said.
Martino was crossing Nellis outside of a designated area when she was hit by the truck, police said. She died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
