The woman who died in a Wednesday house fire has been identified.

Sara Paparella, a 51-year-old resident of Las Vegas, died in the fire, the Clark County coroner’s office said. Her death was ruled an accident.

Around noon on Wednesday, Clark County firefighters responded to the fire at 4943 Lana Drive, near the intersection of South Nellis Boulevard and East Harmon Avenue. According to a press release from the fire department, responders entered the home to search for an occupant and found the body of a woman, later identified as Paparella.

Two pet birds died in the blaze, said Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan. Two dogs were uninjured in the fire.

The cause and origin of the fire, which caused about $75,000 in damage, were undetermined Monday, Buchanan said.
