Las Vegas man arrested in $7M US Treasury check scheme

An inmate died Saturday morning at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Coleman Denorris Davis, 47, died at 8:17 a.m, the Nevada Department of Corrections said.

Davis was committed to Southern Desert Correctional Center on Oct. 30, 2010. He was serving 10 to 25 years for robbery.

An autopsy will be scheduled unless the family declines.

Police officers responded to the 9000 block of West Sahara Avenue, near South Fort Apache Road, about 7:35 a.m. and found a deceased female in a dumpster enclosure.
