1 person killed in North Las Vegas motorcycle crash

Updated September 9, 2018 - 8:51 am

A 31-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday night after crashing into a North Las Vegas warehouse building, police said.

The man lost control of his bike about 10:15 p.m. while heading west through the warehouse parking lot on the 4100 block of Industrial Center Drive, near East Alexander Road, according to the North Las Vegas Police Department. He died at the scene.

Detectives suspect that the driver, who will be identified by the Clark County coroner’s office, was speeding and driving recklessly. Police said that impairment did not appear to be a factor.

There were no other injuries, police said.

It was the 18th traffic death investigated this year by the department.
