Las Vegas homicide detectives considered 80 percent of their cases cleared by the end of 2015. Though Metro is trailing now, Lt. Dan McGrath said he expects a clearance rate of 75 percent by the end of this year. Valleywide, 60 percent of homicides have been cleared.
