2 school buses crash, EMTs called for medically fragile student

Two Clark County School District buses crashed Friday afternoon in the northwest valley, Las Vegas police said.

There were no injuries, but paramedics were called as a precaution because the sole student on board from Centennial High School is “medically fragile,” district spokesman David Roddy said.

Officers were called about 1:20 p.m. to the intersection of North Durango Drive and West Deer Springs Way, Metro spokeswoman officer Laura Meltzer said.

Metro and the district had not released additional details about the crash by Friday evening.
