If you plan to commute down to the Strip on Flamingo Road overnight Wednesday, think twice.

Eastbound Flamingo Road from Las Vegas Boulevard to Linq Lane will be closed from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 4 a.m. Wednesday for film production work, Las Vegas police announced Tuesday evening. Westbound Flamingo also will be closed intermittently during that time. The road may open sooner if possible.

Pedestrian traffic also will be diverted during the filming, police said.

In a recent interview with Variety, actor Matt Damon said filming for the latest movie in the Bourne series, which includes a chase on the Strip, was set to begin this week.

Police did not provide further details Tuesday.
