Debris-filled water pours onto Vegas golf course in last week’s flash flood — VIDEO

Clark County on Tuesday released a video showing water pouring onto a golf course and one person being rescued during last week’s flash flooding in the Las Vegas Valley.

The video posted on the county’s Facebook page shows a wall of debris-filled water at The Club at Sunrise golf course (formerly Desert Rose Golf Course), 5483 Club House Drive, on June 30 and the rescue of a homeless person by Clark County Fire Department firefighters.

On that day firefighters responded to at least four other swift-water rescues. Firefighters were able to rescue two people from a wash near Eastern Avenue and Desert Inn Road about 3:50 p.m., but a third person, who was having a medical episode, was swept away by the water.
