Las Vegas to hit 90 degrees again on Thursday

The Vegas Valley will get a break from 90-degree days as temperatures cool down over the weekend.

Wednesday was the first day in 2016 to reach a temperature in the 90s. The high was 91 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Thursday’s high was 90 degrees.

Friday will have a high near 89 degrees and will be breezy, Saturday will cool down to a high of 78 degrees; Sunday’s projected high is 82 degrees.

Clouds will also move into the valley Friday, but rain is unlikely over the weekend. However, Monday has 15 percent to 20 percent of rain, the Weather Service said.
