Las Vegas to stay sunny and dry through Fourth of July and beyond

Las Vegas Valley residents will be celebrate Independence Day amid light breezes and warm temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs should stay just above 100 degrees throughout the week and only light winds are expected, the weather service said.
Sunday saw a high temperature of 103 degrees with a low of 82, meteorologist Jim Harrison said. Monday’s high is expected to reach 105 degrees.
No rain is expected for the week, but plenty of sun and winds from 10 to 20 mph are expected each day, the weather service said.
The forecast high for Tuesday mirrors Monday at 105 degrees, and highs will fall slightly over the week with an expected high of 103 degrees for Wednesday and Thursday, he said.
Friday will likely see a high of 104, and Saturday is expected to have a high of 103, Harrison said.
