The Las Vegas Valley is expected to experience lightly cooler temperatures over the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday saw a high of 70 degrees with clear skies, meteorologist Jim Harrison said. Saturday and Sunday are expected to have slightly cooler temperatures with highs of 66 and 64 degrees, respectively.

Similar highs are expected next week, as temperatures will remain in the high 60s, Harrison said. Come Monday the valley will see light breezes between 15 and 25 mph.

A storm system will move into the valley on Monday, but only the southwest mountains will be affected. No rain is expected in the valley next week.
