Las Vegas Valley will be sunny and warm for Labor Day weekend

Las Vegas Valley residents can expect to enjoy a warm, sunny Labor Day weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday’s high reached 102 degrees and the low was 3 degrees with 10 to 20 mph winds, meteorologist Jim Harrison said.

The weekend is expected to have clear skies and no chance of rain, he said.

Saturday will be a little cooler with a high of 98 degrees. Sunday may be breezy with possible winds of up to 30 mph, and a high of 91 degrees, the weather service said. Monday will see a 10 degree drop from average with a high of 90 degrees, Harrison said.

Temperatures should be back up to high 90s by midweek, Harrison said.
