No chance of rain as temperatures climb this weekend, weather service says

Though it was hazy Wednesday morning in the Las Vegas Valley because of smoke from Southern California wildfires and dust from Arizona storms, Thursday should start with clearer skies, according to the National Weather Service.

The forecast high is about 100 degrees, with a morning low of 80, the weather service said.

Temperatures will rise through the weekend, with a forecast high of 103 on Friday, 107 on Saturday and 110 on Sunday.

The valley won’t be seeing any rain this weekend either, according to the weather service meteorologist Clay Morgan.

“There could be several days of above-normal temperatures heading into next week,” Morgan said.
