The Las Vegas Valley is expected to be warm and dry before a mild cold front arrives at the beginning of the weekend.

Wednesday has a forecast high of 83 degrees, followed by an expected high of 87 degrees on Thursday, the National Weather Service said.

Friday could see some winds, gusting as high as 20 mph, accompany a forecast high of 81, the weather service said. Saturday and Sunday are expected to reach 76 and 82, respectively.
