Sunny skies expected throughout Las Vegas’ Easter weekend

The Las Vegas Valley is expected to have sunny and warm weather through the Easter weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures in the 70s will stick around through Monday. Saturday should have a high of 71 degrees, and Sunday will warm up to 78 degrees.

Winds will also pick up on Saturday, with 10 to 20 mph winds throughout the valley.

The winds will be more tame Sunday morning and early afternoon, but Sunday night through Tuesday, the wind speeds will pick up to 25 to 35 miles per hour. The weather service has released a high wind watch for Monday.

On Monday, temperatures drop and wind speeds pick up because of a weather system passing through.

Next week, temperatures are expected to drop 10 to 15 degrees lower than the seasonal average. Temperatures are predicted to be in the 60s much of next week.
