Windy week with sunny skies for the Las Vegas Valley

Sunny skies and slow-rising temperatures are forecast for the week in the Las Vegas Valley, the National Weather Service said.

Las Vegas can expect a 79-degree high Thursday and Friday. Highs will creep back into the 80s on Saturday and Sunday. Lows for the week should dip into the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Temperatures are about 10 degrees above normal for this time of the year, meteorologist Caleb Steele said.

Next week’s temperatures will hover around 80 degrees. “This pattern of weather doesn’t really look like it will bring us any cool weather anytime soon,” Steele said.
