Top players: C Omar Gonzalez (Sr.), SS/P Alonso Osorio-Kalawe (So.), OF/3B/P Roberto Beltran (Jr.), 3B Logan Corona (Jr.), 1B/P Jared Limbeck (Jr.)

Outlook: Atoigue, who spent the last two seasons as Cheyenne’s coach, takes over a program that welcomes back six starters and is hoping to improve.

“The Vikings are a young team, and we will depend on our veteran starters to help pave the way on and off the field,” Atoigue said. “We have a lot of young, talented players, and this element will be crucial in the development and rebuilding process of this team.

“Our goal this season is simple: To outperform our last performance.”
