Outlook: The Chargers return 12 lettermen from a team that started a building process last season under Gregorich.

McLin (.375), Carrillo (.320) and Thompson (.310) likely will be among the leaders on offense, and Blodgett (2 wins, 4.25 ERA) returns to help the Chargers on the mound.

“There was a lot of learning on the job at the varsity level last season,” Gregorich said. “The key this year is to put that experience to good use and play clean baseball. Learning how to win and come together as a team will determine our level of success this season.”
