Outlook: Faranda takes over a program only three years removed from a state championship and hopes to return the program to an elite level.

“With facility upgrades and five baseball coaches on campus, we have the formula to bring Liberty back to a state title contender,” said Faranda, who will be assisted by veteran coach Rich Ebarb.

Rogers (.373, 19 RBIs), Wong (.386, 12 RBIs), Clark (.312, 14 RBIs) and Moreno (.283, 10 RBIs) return to lead the offense.

“The Liberty baseball program will focus on ‘The Patriot way’ on and off the field,” Faranda said. “The goal is for every player to develop as a student-athlete and to be prepared for life.”
