ROUNDUP: Becker drives in two late to help Foothill slip past Basic

Kevin Becker hit a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday to help Foothill’s baseball team edge visiting Basic, 8-7.
Becker was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and teammate Royce Salay went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double and two RBIs for Foothill. Dayton Kurian was 3-for-4 for the Falcons.
Nelson Kent went 3-for-3 with two triples for Basic, which scored single runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to take a 7-6 lead.
Every Basic starter had at least one hit.
Liberty 13, Silverado 3 — At Liberty, Marcos Rivera tossed a five-inning five-hitter and went 1-for-1 with three RBIs as the Patriots routed the Skyhawks.
Manny Menocal was 2-for-3 with three runs and an RBI, and Mike Vargas went 2-for-3 with a double, four runs and two RBIs for Liberty.
Teddy Efthemeou was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for Liberty.
Coronado 21, Tech 2 — At Tech, Taylor Giordano homered, tripled, drove in four runs and earned the win on the hill, and Julian Burrola added a homer, a double, two RBIs and two runs to lead the Cougars to a five-inning rout of the Roadrunners.
James Anderson and Jordan Kingsley each supplied three hits, including a double for Coronado, which used a 10-run third inning to pull away.
Jordan Terry was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Tech.
Green Valley 15, Del Sol 9 — At Del Sol, Brett Harrison belted a fourth-inning grand slam, and Gabe Douglas was 2-for-3 to lead the Gators past the Dragons.
Justin Chronister went 2-for-3 with a home run, and David Day was 2-for-3 with a double for Del Sol.
Valley 17, Sunrise Mountain 7 — At Sunrise Mountain, Juan Deolarte went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, four RBIs and three runs as the Vikings defeated the Miners in five innings.
Marcus Meija hit a three-run homer as part of a 12-run first inning that allowed Valley to pull away.
Daniel Guardado supplied two triples and drove in five runs for Sunrise Mountain.
Eldorado 15, Chaparral 6 — At Chaparral, winning pitcher Lucio Arreola went 3-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI.
Eric Larsen was 3-for-5 with three runs and an RBI for Eldorado.
Zack Harman went 2-for-4 with two doubles for Chaparral.
Rancho 23, Desert Pines 4 — At Desert Pines, Kevin Kline was 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs, and the Rams used a 17-run outburst in the third inning to rout the Jaguars in five innings.
Brandon Pletsch went 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs, and Justin Pankratz went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs for Rancho.
Roberto Hernandez was 2-for-2 for Desert Pines.
Las Vegas 27, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Xavier Palmer went 3-for-3 with two homers and six RBIs as the Wildcats routed the Pioneers.
Tanner Chauncey was 4-for-5 with a home run, and Jesse Acosta added three hits for Las Vegas.
Desert Oasis 10, Spring Valley 0 — At Desert Oasis, Mike Maiello tossed a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and four walks as the Diamondbacks shut out the Grizzlies in six innings.
Riley Smith was 2-for-2 with three runs scored, and Zane Killebrew went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBIs for Desert Oasis, which ended the game with a six-run sixth inning.
Bishop Gorman 10, Durango 0 — At Gorman, Justin Jones was 3-for-3 with a run and two RBIs to help the Gaels to the five-inning win.
Kenny Meimerstorf and Jerrell Latham each added two hits, and Joey Gallo had a home run and three RBIs for Gorman.
Cody Roper threw a five-hitter with five strikeouts to get the win.
Galena 9, Bishop Gorman 6 — At Gorman, Zack Parkinson was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and the Grizzlies rallied for five runs in the top of the fourth to get past the Gaels.
T.J. White was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs for Gorman.
Mountain View 22, Indian Springs 16 — At Indian Springs, Ivaylo Iliev was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs as the Saints rallied from a 12-6 deficit after four innings to outlast the Thunderbirds.
Logan Christie added a double and drove in three runs for Mountain View, which used a nine-run sixth inning to pull away.
Adam Reinke homered for Indian Springs.
Trinity 13, Spring Mountain 9 — At Mountain Ridge Park, James Zaino went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run to lead the Thunder past the Eagles.
Damen Cook was 2-for-4 with three runs, and Avery Harden went 2-for-4 with two runs for Trinity.
Don DiMaggio was 2-for-4 for Spring Mountain.
Lincoln County 12, Pahranagat Valley 2 — At Alamo, Ryan Lloyd was 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBIs to lead the Lynx past the Panthers.
Derek Hansen had an RBI double for Pahranagat Valley.
