ROUNDUP: Conley’s no-hitter helps Dragons edge Pirates

Nick Conley delivered a no-hitter Tuesday, but needed his Del Sol teammates to score a run in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game and one more in the seventh as the Dragons rallied past visiting Moapa Valley, 6-5.

Conley issued six walks, and the Pirates took advantage of four Del Sol errors to score twice in the first inning and three times in the fourth.

Del Sol tied the game in the bottom of the sixth, and Brandon Hubbs’ RBI single in the seventh plated Shaun Topper with the winning run.

Green Valley 11, Desert Oasis 10 — At Desert Oasis, Chad Whiteaker was 5-for-5 with four RBIs while hitting for the cycle to lead the Gators past the Diamondbacks.

Evan Van Hoosier was 4-for-5 with a home run for Green Valley, which held on after Desert Oasis scored four runs in the seventh.

Arbor View 11, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, Zach Quintana and Evan McMahan combined on a five-hitter, and the Aggies made the most of six hits to rout the Bengals.

McMahan went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for Arbor View, which trailed 1-0 after three innings.

Sean DeSoto was 3-for-3 with an RBI for Bonanza.

Coronado 14, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Jordan Kingsley and Cody Howard each had a three-run homer in the top of the fourth as the Cougars routed the Cowboys in five innings.

Dylan Myers had five strikeouts to earn the win for Coronado, which got a triple from Dillon Fahr and a double from Chad Scott.

Bishop Gorman 16, West Toronto (Canada) 3 — At Gorman, Billy Richardson threw a one-hitter to lead the Gaels to five-ining the win.

Richardson took a perfect game into the final inning. He finished with 12 strikeouts and four walks.

T.J. White was 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs to lead Gorman’s offense. Joey Gallo added two doubles, and Kenny Meimerstorf homered for the Gaels.

Basic 15, Eldorado 3 — At Eldorado, Dean Gettman belted a three-run homer, and the Wolves used a seven-run sixth inning to defeat the Sundevils.

Kyle Silva tossed a three-hitter to earn the win for Basic. David Romero scored four runs for the Wolves, and Kody Seastrunk and Silva each had three RBIs.

Liberty 15, Valley 1 — At Valley, Mike Vargas went 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs, and Teddy Efthemeou was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs as the Patriots blitzed the Vikings in five innings.

Foothill 25, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Foothill got hits from 17 players in a five-inning rout of the Jaguars.

Anthony Lopez and Dayton Kurian each had two of the Falcons’ 19 hits.

Virgin Valley 6, Canyon Springs 5 — At Mesquite, Wyatt Williams’ double in the bottom of the eighth inning plated Austin Gazley with the winning run as the Bulldogs nipped the Pioneers.

Boulder City 15, Tech 5 — At Boulder City, Billy Barth went 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs to lead the Eagles to a five-inning rout of the Roadrunners.

Tanner Howell was 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI for Boulder City, and teammate Sean Hickey was 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI. Nate Hafen added a three-run homer for the Eagles.

Chris Carstensen had two singles for Tech.

The Meadows 20, Indian Springs 5 — At The Meadows, Austin Brown had a triple and four RBIs to help the Mustangs cruise past the Thunderbirds.

The Meadows scored nine runs in the first inning.
