ROUNDUP: Hutt lifts Gators past Mountain Lions from plate, mound

Alec Hutt hit a solo home run with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning Wednesday to lead Green Valley’s baseball team to a 2-1 home win over Sierra Vista.
Hutt was 2-for-3 and also threw a four-hitter to get the win. Hutt struck out four and didn't walk a batter.
Evan Van Hoosier was 2-for-3 for the Gators.
Cimarron-Memorial 10, Faith Lutheran 5 — At Faith Lutheran, Kevin Dorantes belted a grand slam, and A.J. Hernandez and Cody Clark each homered as the Spartans clinched the Northwest League title by downing the Crusaders.
Dorantes’ slam highlighted a six-run fourth inning for Cimarron (22-7, 12-3 Northwest). He finished 3-for-4 with five RBIs.
Hernandez was 2-for-3 with three runs and four RBIs, and Nathan Hale, Cody Stafford and Tanner McAninch added two hits apiece for the Spartans.
Clark struck out eight in 5 2/3 innings.
Josh Murtha was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and David Edson and Blake Matthias each had two hits for Faith Lutheran.
Shadow Ridge 7, Legacy 3 — At Legacy, Logan Hold went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs and tossed a three-hitter to lead the Mustangs past the Longhorns and into the Sunset Region playoffs for the first time in the program’s history.
Mike Wager was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Brandon Show went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Shadow Ridge, which moved into a tie for third place with Faith Lutheran at 10-5 in the Northwest.
Centennial 12, Palo Verde 1 — At Palo Verde, Adrian Rodriguez went 3-for-3 with two home runs, three runs scored and five RBIs as the Bulldogs routed the Panthers in five innings.
Centennial’s Bryan Bonnell pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts and one walk.
Keith Krueger was 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI for the Bulldogs.
Arbor View 12, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Brady Hinricksen had a double and three RBIs to lift the Aggies to the five-inning win.
Evan McMahan went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI for Arbor View.
Bonanza 3, Durango 2 — At Bonanza, Alec Taft’s bad-hop single to center with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning plated Mike Hoyes with the winning run as the Bengals nipped the Trailblazers.
Hoyes ripped a ground-rule double to start the seventh and remained at second on a pop out before Taft’s winning hit.
Braiden Gray tossed a five-hitter and struck out eight for Bonanza.
Cameron Coombs was 2-for-4 with a stolen base for Durango. Will Morris tossed a four-hitter with three strikeouts for the Trailblazers, who turned three double plays.
Desert Oasis 10, Pahrump Valley 4 — At Desert Oasis, Riley Smith went 2-for-3 with two RBIs as the Diamondbacks secured their first Sunset Region playoff berth by downing the Trojans.
Dillon Krasn was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Desert Oasis.
Sam Morrow went 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Pahrump.
Spring Valley 11, Western 0 — At Western, Robbie Brewster fired a five-inning two-hitter with six strikeouts and no walks as the Grizzlies blanked the Warriors.
Drew LaComb went 3-for-3 with three RBIs for Spring Valley, and Tyler Kartler, Jose Rosales-Rodarte, Kenny Hartlauer and Jacob Schwartz each added two hits for the Grizzlies.
Bishop Gorman 25, Clark 0 — At Clark, Joey Gallo was 2-for-4 with a grand slam and six RBIs as the Gaels blitzed the Chargers in five innings.
Erik Van Meetren went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs, and Tyler Baker was 2-for-3 with a triple, a double and two RBIs for Gorman.
T.J. White, Billy Richardson and Gallo combined on a one-hitter. White fanned eight in three innings, and Gallo struck out the side in the fifth.
Virgin Valley 19, Cheyenne 9 — At Cheyenne, Matt Devore was 4-for-4, and Brandt Eaton and Tanner Tichenor each supplied a home run to lead the Bulldogs past the Desert Shields in six innings.
Louie Lopez went 3-for-3 for Cheyenne, and Joey Cunha drove in two runs.
Boulder City 10, Del Sol 5 — At Boulder City, Jack LaMarca was 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and four RBIs to lead the Eagles past the Dragons.
Nate Hafen went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run, and D.J. Koopman was 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs for Boulder City. Nick Morelli was 2-for-4 with two runs for the Eagles.
Justin Chronister went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for Del Sol. David Day was 2-for-4 with two doubles, and Joey Baggs went 2-for-4 for the Dragons.
