ROUNDUP: Kinkenon’s three-run shot powers Crusaders past Aggies

Michael Kinkenon belted a three-run home run to lead Faith Lutheran to a 10-7 home victory over Arbor View on Tuesday.

Kinekenon’s homer highlighted a four-run fourth inning that put the Crusaders on top, 8-6.

Tyler Trageton was 2-for-4 with a triple for Faith Lutheran.

Arbor View’s Zach Quintana went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs.

Legacy 2, Palo Verde 1 — At Legacy, Ryan Calsada hit a single to score Nick Martinez in the bottom of seventh inning and give the Longhorns a win over the Panthers.

Joey Wright was 2-for-2 with a double for Legacy.

Jordan Benson and Brooks Nelson each hit a double for Palo Verde.

Shadow Ridge 11, Mojave 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Danny Turnbull went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and two RBIs, and Logan Hold and Dan McAdorey combined on a three-hitter to lead the Mustangs past the Rattlers in five innings.

Brandon Show was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Bruce Butler went 2-for-2 with an RBI for Shadow Ridge.

Hold went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI for the Mustangs, who also got a two-run homer from Troy Williams.

Centennial 14, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Drake Sacenti was 2-for-3 with a two-run home run as the Bulldogs shut out the Desert Shields.

Casey Moses had two doubles, two runs and an RBI, and winning pitcher Bryan Bonnell added two doubles and three RBIs for Centennial.

Nik Goetz went 2-for-2 with a double to lead Cheyenne.

Durango 20, Clark 5 — At Clark, Cameron Coombs went 2-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored and four RBIs as the Trailblazers routed the Chargers in five innings.

Scott Martinez was 3-for-4 with three runs and an RBI for Durango.

Greg McKinney went 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs for Clark.

Pahrump Valley 14, Western 3 — At Western, Joey McCaw was 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and three runs to help the Trojans cruise past the Warriors.

Eddie Martinez and Aaron Pike each added two hits for Pahrump, which scored seven runs in the fifth inning.

Josh Yokum was 3-for-3 with a home run, two doubles and two RBIs for Western.

Spring Valley 17, Virgin Valley 3 — At Spring Valley, the Grizzlies pounded out 20 hits en route to the five-inning win.

Tyler Kartler and Jose Rosales-Rodarte each went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs for Spring Valley.

Drew LaComb was 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and three RBIs, and Dylan Drachler had a solo home run for the Grizzlies.

Cameron Jensen went 2-for-3 with a run scored for Virgin Valley.

Cimarron-Memorial 6, Moapa Valley 1 — At Overton, Travis Hendry was 2-for-2 with a run, and Kevin Dorantes had two runs and an RBI to lead the Spartans past the Pirates.

Josh Nuernberg drove in two runs for Cimarron, which scored three runs in the top of the first.

Lane Stringham doubled twice and drove in a run for Moapa Valley.

Northridge (Colo.) 11, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Jordan Francies had a double and an inside-the-park homer to lead the Grizzlies past the Miners.

Ernesto Senda went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Sunrise Mountain.

Beatty 18-15, Trinity 3-5 — At Rivera Field, Jacob Zamora went 4-for-5 with eight runs in the two games to lead the Hornets to a sweep of the Thunder.

Beatty scored 11 runs in the second inning of the first game, which was called after three innings when the sprinklers came on.

Chris Bautista was a combined 2-for-4 with a triple and double to lead Trinity.

Tonopah 16-15, Mountain View 13-12 — At Mountain View, Taylor McLauchlin went 2-for-2 with three runs in the opener, and Julian Hirsch was 3-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs in the four-inning nightcap as the Muckers swept the Saints.

Alex Capozzoli was 3-for-4 with a triple, three runs and an RBI, and Korey Wood went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for the Saints in the first game.

In the second game, Capozzoli was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs, and teammate Logan Christie went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs.

Pahranagat Valley 7, The Meadows 6 — At Alamo, Derek Hansen singled home Kade Wadsworth in the bottom of the seventh to give the Panthers a win over the Mustangs.

Hansen was 2-for-3 for Pahranagat Valley, and Kale Leavitt had two RBIs.

Trevor Litwin went 3-for-3 for The Meadows, and teammate Brandon Thomas was 2-for-4 with two doubles.

Laughlin 24, Indian Springs 9 — At Indian Springs, Jimmy Minnier went 2-for-3 with five RBIs to lead the Cougars past the Thunderbirds in five innings.

Corey Beggs added a two-run home run for Laughlin, which drew 19 walks.
