BASKETBALL: Trier helps Pilots stay on course

Allonzo Trier poured in 33 points Friday to lead Findlay Prep’s boys basketball team to an 82-69 win over Our Savior New American (N.Y.) in the HoopHall West Classic in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Trier added five rebounds for the Pilots, who led 41-31 at the half.

Mountain View 49, Pahranagat Valley 40 — At Alamo, Tevin Gray had 16 points to help the Saints down the Panthers.

Connor LeBoeuf added 13 points for Mountain View, which led only 19-18 at the half.

Jacob Roemer paced Pahranagat Valley with 12 points.

Spring Mountain 61, Lake Mead 52 — At Lake Mead, Shakori Clark had 19 points to help the Golden Eagles top the Eagles.

Tre’Vion Glover and Steve Jones each added 14 points for Spring Mountain.

Dylan Graham had 17 points, and Trey Vetter scored 14 for Lake Mead.

Agassi Prep 53, Kingman Academy (Ariz.) 37 — At Kingman, Ariz., Deishuan Booker had 20 points, and the Stars defeated the Tigers in the opening game of pool play at the Colorado River Holiday Classic.

Darius Coaxum added eight points for Agassi Prep, which avenged a loss to Kingman Academy in last season’s tournament title game.

Agassi Prep 62, Mohave (Ariz.) 27 — At Kingman, Ariz., Booker poured in 32 points, and the Stars routed the Thunderbirds in pool play at the Colorado River Holiday Classic.

Dennis Walker added 12 points for Agassi Prep.

GIRLS

Mountain View 45, Pahranagat Valley 31 — At Alamo, Kiley Murphy and Rose Adkins each had 19 points to lead the Saints by the Panthers.

Jade Jewett had eight points for Pahranagat Valley.
