BOYS BASKETBALL: Gaynor helps Trailblazers roll past Rams

Darryl Gaynor had 32 points and eight rebounds Monday to help Durango’s boys basketball team to a 75-47 home win over Rancho.

Vee Price added 16 points, and Alex Tarkanian had eight points, four rebounds, four assists and five steals for the Trailblazers.

Demitri Duckworth had 11 points for the Rams.

Arbor View 84, Green Valley 80 — At Arbor View, Justin Burks had 32 points, nine rebounds and three steals as the Aggies rallied to top the Gators.

Arbor View trailed by 12 in the first quarter and by as much as five in the fourth quarter before rallying.

Charles Porter took two charges within a minute in the fourth quarter to help turn the momentum. He also finished with five assists.

Terrell Butler had 28 points and seven steals, and Isaiah Simmons grabbed 10 rebounds for Arbor View.

Troy Cropper led Green Valley with 23 points. Tyrell Crosby added 16 points, and Jason Hill scored 15 for the Gators.

Clark 62, Valley 52 — At Valley, Diontae Jones had 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Chargers by the Vikings.

Carter Olsen had 17 points, and Sherron Wilson scored 11 points for Clark.

Cameron Burton paced Valley with 24 points and six rebounds, and teammate Gerard Harden scored 10 points.

Canyon Springs 75, Sierra Vista 68 — At Sierra Vista, Gerad Davis scored 28 points to help the Pioneers down the Mountain Lions.

Chris Nelson added 15 points for Canyon Springs, which made 24 of 33 free throws, including 7 of 8 in the final minute.

Mikko Balmes paced Sierra Vista with 23 points. Giovanni Santana and Dominique Marcy added 10 points apiece for the Mountain Lions.

Desert Oasis 73, Del Sol 62 — At Del Sol, Rodrick Moore scored 22 points to lead the Diamondbacks by the Dragons.

Kodi Leslie added 11 points, and Jay Esguerra scored 10 for Desert Oasis, which used a 23-8 second-quarter run to take the lead.

Kyle Collins scored 19 points, and Jonross Juhas added 18 points for Del Sol.

Mojave 76, Shadow Ridge 48 — At Shadow Ridge, Jordan Glenn had 20 points and 12 rebounds as the Rattlers ran away from the Mustangs.

Darryl Adams had 22 points, and Melvin Irvey added 10 points for Mojave.

Jordin Williams paced Shadow Ridge with 14 points, and teammate Preston Echols scored 12.

Bonanza 71, Spring Valley 59 — At Bonanza, DeAndre Hicks scored nine of his 23 points during a huge fourth-quarter spurt that propelled the Bengals by the Grizzlies.

Bonanza, which trailed 43-41 entering the fourth, outscored the Grizzlies 30-16 in the final eight minutes.

Hicks also had six assists, and Jamal Logan scored 12 for Bonanza.

Travis Walton had 19 points, and DeVante Moten scored 16 for Spring Valley.

Silverado 61, Tech 17 — At Silverado, Isaiah Glover had 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Skyhawks routed the Roadrunners.

Juanito Delgado added 11 points, and Joe Baldi scored 10 for Silverado, which led 29-5 at the half.

Julius Barnes led Tech with six points.
