BOYS BASKETBALL: Harney’s big day lifts Lions by White Pine

Matthew Harney had 42 points and 16 rebounds Saturday to help Calvary Chapel’s boys basketball team to a 67-61 win over host White Pine in Ely.

Chris Young had 27 points, and Sam Stewart scored 13 for the Bobcats.

Canyon Springs 82, Bullard (Calif.) 68 — At Fresno, Calif., Jordan Davis scored a team-high 25 points to lead the Pioneers by the Knights in the Clovis West Nike Invitational.

Kajuan Casey added 23 points, and Channel Banks scored 13 for Canyon Springs, which led 54-49 after three quarters.

Austin Armstead had 28 points for Bullard, which got 16 points from Marquis Macumba.

The Meadows 64, Lincoln County 51 — At Panaca, Jake Epstein scored 28 points to lead the Mustangs by the Lynx.

Ethan Fridman added 14 points, and Max Hisatake scored 13 for The Meadows, which led 18-6 after one quarter.

Derek Shumway paced Lincoln County with 16 points. McClain O’Connor scored 14 points, and Mike Wood had 10 points for the Lynx.
