Clark boys basketball forfeits five games

Clark's boys basketball team has forfeited its first five games of the season, the Clark County School District athletic office said Tuesday.

Included in the forfeits are Sunset League games against Spring Valley (a 61-19 win) and Pahrump Valley (a 78-32 win).

The Chargers, the two-time defending Division I-A state champions, also forfeited victories against Liberty, Valley and Canyon Springs. No reason was given for the forfeits.

As a result, Clark fell to 13-8 overall and 7-2 in the Sunset League.
