ROUNDUP: Corbitt scores 25 as Lions beat Thunder

Brandon Corbitt scored 25 points Monday to help Calvary Chapel’s boys basketball team rally for a 69-63 road win over Trinity.

Joey Peterson and Tyler Moore each added 16 points for Calvary Chapel, which outscored Trinity 38-19 in the second half.

Budweiser Hawkins led Trinity with 23 points. Tyler Watts added 17 points and Gage Neuwohner 11 for the Thunder.

GIRLS

Calvary Chapel 40, Trinity 31 — At Mirabelli Gym, Samantha Mann, Anna Duerden and Kelsey Hannah each scored 10 points to help the Lions beat the Thunder.

Andrea Martinez led Trinity with 10 points.
