ROUNDUP: Sierra Vista boys net road win

Viko Noma’aea and Dylan Goings each scored 25 points Friday to lead Sierra Vista’s boys basketball team to a 67-59 win at Rancho.

Sierra Vista finished 29-for-31 from the free-throw line. The Mountain Lions were 16-for-17 in the fourth quarter.

Amir Royal had 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Antonio Boucher added 18 points for Rancho.

Valley 84, Virgin Valley 59 — At Mesquite, Khristian Kirkwood scored 16 points to lead the Vikings past the Bulldogs.

Royce Finley scored 12 of his 15 points in the third quarter to help Valley break open a close game.

Virgin Valley’s Jason Wittwer had 20 points.

Eldorado 81, Western 76 — At Western, Curtis Stewart scored 24 points to lift the Sundevils over the Warriors.

Ariel Baggett took advantage of a key Western turnover in the final minute, hitting a layup to put Eldorado ahead for good. Bagget finished with 22 points.

Kentrell Washington scored 24 points to lead the Warriors.

Bonanza 62, Shadow Ridge 52 — At Shadow Ridge, Dasean Martin scored 16 points, and the Bengals used a 22-8 second-quarter burst to beat the Mustangs.

Josh Youngblood led the Mustangs with 17 points. Zach Hafen added 12 points for Shadow Ridge.

Palo Verde 72, Chaparral 40 — At Palo Verde, Moses Morgan scored 16 points and Delron Mims had 12 to lead the Panthers past the Cowboys.

Devonte White scored 13 points to lead Chaparral, which trailed 34-12 at halftime.

Moapa Valley 73, Panguitch (Utah) 61 — At Panguitch, Utah, Josh Thompson had 18 points and six assists to help the Pirates rally for a victory.

James Frehner added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Moapa Valley, which outscored the Bobcats 22-9 in the fourth quarter to claim the win.

Laughlin 45, Sandy Valley 31 — At Sandy Valley, Andre Prosise scored 10 points to help the Cougars rally past the Sidewinders.

Nick Todd had eight points for Laughlin, which rallied after falling behind 14-10 in the first quarter.

Patrick Hartung and Ryan Hagan had nine points apiece to lead Sandy Valley.

Pahranagat Valley 67, Pyramid Lake 44 — At Hawthorne, Tyler Higbee led four double-figure scorers with 20 points as the Panthers rolled in the Mineral County Serpent Classic.

Cody Hosier added 15 points, and Jeremy Roemer and Tommy Williams each scored 12 for Pahranagat Valley, which pulled away after taking a 35-26 halftime lead.

Pahranagat Valley 76, Rite of Passage 36 — At Hawthorne, Williams led a balanced attack with 16 points as the Panthers beat the3 Rams in the Mineral County  Serpent Classic.

Kale Leavitt and Kade Wadsworth each added 11 points for Pahranagat Valley, which had seven players score seven or more points.

The Panthers led 48-22 at the half and cruised to the win.
