2012-13 record: 13-13 (5-7 Sunrise, fifth)

Outlook: The Miners finished a game out of fourth place and a postseason berth last year, but are starting from near scratch this year.

Seven seniors graduated, taking with them about 90 percent of the team’s offense.

“Inexperience will be the biggest hurdle for the Miners to overcome this year,” Teran said. “With a new coaching staff, the Miners are looking forward to the challenge of competing for their first ever playoff berth this year.”
