Timpview tops Centennial in Capitol City Classic final

Levi Wilson scored 21 points Wednesday night to power Timpview (Utah) to a 64-60 win over Centennial in the championship game of the Capitol City Classic in Salem, Ore.

The Thunderbirds led 18-9 after one quarter, but Centennial clawed its way back into the game, cutting the lead to 55-53. But Jordan Sagers hit one of his six 3-pointers to push the lead back to five, and the Bulldogs were unable to complete the comeback.

Centennial's Troy Brown led all scorers with 29 points. Jake Hutchings added 14 points for the Bulldogs.

Sagers had 18 points and A.J. Bollinger scored 16 for Timpview.
