Outlook: Cruz almost certainly ranks as one of the top 10 returnees in Southern Nevada after averaging 16.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game for a team that stresses defense.
Melone (7.1 ppg, 2.3 apg) is an unheralded guard who could have a breakout season.
"We always expect to be competitive," Crego said. "With four seniors thisyear, we will be very disappointed if we don't reach postseason play."
