GIRLS BASKETBALL: Barton scores 22, leads Gators past Wasps

Ellee Barton scored 22 points Saturday to lead Green Valley's girls basketball team to a 58-42 win over Wasatch (Utah) in St. George, Utah.

Yamilei Rodriguez added 11 points for the Gators.

Torri Bills led the Wasps with 12 points.

Spring Valley 68, Dixie (Utah) 50 — At St. George, Utah, Kayla Harris had 24 points and 10 assists to lead the Grizzlies past the Flyers.

Essence Booker added 14 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals for Spring Valley.

Lincoln County 56, Mountain View 15 — At Panaca, Easton Tingey had 13 points and three rebounds as the Lynx routed the Saints.

Savannah Harr added 10 points, four steals and two assists for Lincoln County, which led 41-13 at the half and held Mountain View scoreless in the third quarter.
