GIRLS BASKETBALL: Resch’s triple-double lifts Mustangs by Eagles

Hana Resch had 27 points, 15 rebounds and 10 steals on Friday to lead The Meadows to a 53-31 girls basketball win over visiting Lake Mead.

Resch also had two assists and three blocked shots for the Mustangs, who took control of the game with a 24-7 second-quarter run.

Bailey Gosse added 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, six steals and one block for The Meadows, and sister Cassidy Gosse had 17 rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Lake Mead’s Savannah Schmidt scored 21 points despite fouling out in the third quarter.

Mountain View 49, Laughlin 39 — At Laughlin, Kiley Murphy scored 18 points to lead the Saints past the Cougars.

Rose Adkins had 13 points, and Tayah De’Bouck scored 11 for Mountain View.

Kayla Nelson led Laughlin with 16 points. Brittany Schelper added 11 points for the Cougars.

Pahranagat Valley 49, Sandy Valley 24 — At Sandy Valley, the Panthers held the Sidewinders to seven first-half points and rolled to the win to finish undefeated in the Division IV Southern League.
