Outlook: Year in and year out, Richardson and the Longhorns put together a solid team.

They just have had the misfortune of being in the same league with Centennial and Palo Verde. Now the Longhorns have Centennial and Bishop Gorman to contend with in league play.

But with four starters back, including Payne (14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game) and Evans (8.0 points, 9.0 rebounds per game), Legacy might be in a spot to challenge the perennial frontrunners.

"We have a great group of girls who have been playing together for a good while," Richardson said. "Hopefully we can put together a winning season."
