Rattlers split games in Vegas Invitational

Mojave's Charleea Armstrong scored 11 of her game-high 15 points in the second half as the Rattlers rallied for a 43-29 win over Selma (Calif.) in the Vegas Invitational on Monday at Mountain View.

Savannah Blanchard-Davis added seven points for Mojave, which trailed 17-16 at halftime before outscoring Selma 16-5 in the third quarter.

Gagan Dhailwal led Selma with 13 points.

South El Monte (Calif.) 38, Mojave 34 — At Mountain View, Kimberly Urbina hit three 3-pointers and finished with 13 points to help the Eagles outlast the Rattlers in the Vegas Invitational.

Jennifer Jimenez added eight points for South El Monte, which led by as many as 17 points in the third quarter.

Armstrong scored 19 points, including eight in the fourth quarter, for Mojave.
