ROUNDUP: Hamrick helps Pahrump girls top Spring Valley

Megan Hamrick had 19 points and 11 rebounds Saturday, and Pahrump Valley’s girls basketball team built a 43-19 halftime lead and cruised past visiting Spring Valley, 73-40.
Alyson Kunzi added 16 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the Trojans, and teammate Taylor Ball scored 14 points.
Lauren Bugni had 17 points, and Adriana Flores-Proano scored 10 for the Grizzlies.
Virgin Valley 47, Lake Mead 42 — At Lake Mead, Rachel Morris collected 23 points to help Virgin Valley take down the Eagles.
Jenelle Weythman added 18 points for the Bulldogs.
Emily Dean paced Lake Mead with 19 points.
Needles 48, White Pine 36 — At Needles, Calif., Gena Chavira scored 13 points, and the Mustangs used a 29-18 edge in the middle two quarters to top White Pine.
Miranda Brackett added 12 points for Needles, which trailed 13-11 after the first quarter.
Teal Collins paced the Bobcats with 12 points.
Lincoln County 71, Agassi Prep 47 — At Panaca, Marissa Smerek had 16 points and was one of seven Lynx players to score six or more as Lincoln County cruised past the Stars.
Marshante Herring had 20 points, and LaBrishun Hardwick added 12 points for Agassi Prep, which trailed 52-16 at the half.
West Wendover 83, The Meadows 11 — At Southwest Career and Technical Academy, Danika Sharp poured in 37 points as the Wolverines routed the Mustangs.
Candy Roland added 12 points for West Wendover, which expanded its 50-4 halftime lead to 68-6 entering the fourth quarter.
Savannah Sturm led The Meadows with six points.
Lund 47, Sandy Valley 18 — At Sandy Valley, Ale Vega scored 12 of her 17 points in the first quarter to lead the Mustangs past the Sidewinders.
Melynda Boren added 11 points for Lund, which led 30-5 at halftime.
Kenzi Smith and Kiersten Huang scored four points each for Sandy Valley.
Indian Springs 44, Round Mountain 39 — At Indian Springs, Karys Melgoza poured in 23 points, and the Thunderbirds held off Round Mountain.
Kristina Espinoza added 10 points for Indian Springs, which took a 38-24 lead into the fourth quarter.
Kattrena Akers scored 15 points and Anissa Jones 11 for the Knights.
Henderson International 39, Trinity 24 — At Henderson International, Brittany Huff scored 15 points, and the Wolverines took a 12-0 lead into the second quarter on their way to the win.
Lee Harrison added 10 rebounds for Henderson International.
Andrea Martinez led the Thunder with 11 points.
Beatty 48, Tonopah 46 — At Tonopah, Kaci Schroeder scored 15 points to help the Hornets rally from a 36-26 deficit entering the fourth quarter and nip the Muckers.
Alejandra Gonzalez added 13 points for Beatty which shot 21 fourth-quarter free throws compared to just seven for Tonopah.
Summer Ashbey led the Muckers with 18 points, and teammate Amanda O’Donnell scored 10.
