Boulder City starts fast at home in win over Western

Boulder City’s football team grabbed a 21-0 halftime lead en route to a 29-13 home win over Western on Friday night.

Shaun Jones had two rushing touchdowns, and Jimmy Dunagan added 62 yards rushing and a scor for Boulder City (2-0).

Briggs Huxford had a 6-yard TD reception and two interceptions on defense for the Eagles.

Western’s Rayjon Reed had a 2-yard rushing TD, and teammate Spencer Guevara recovered a fumble in the end zone for a score for the Warriors (1-1).
