Thursday’s high school football playoff results

Cimarron-Memorial earned its first league win in nearly two years in dramatic fashion on Friday.

Quarterback George Tribble hit tight end Cameron Dickson-Anderson for a game-winning touchdown with 31 seconds remaining at Centennial, giving the Spartans a 31-28 victory.

Cimarron-Memorial is 3-0 for the first time since 2013. New coach Kory Walker is trying to bring improved focus and discipline to a squad that finished 1-8 last year.

The Spartans’ next game is Sept. 28 at home against Shadow Ridge.
