Mason rushes for 333 yards, Warriors top Sierra Vista

Western's Tadarrel Mason rushed for 333 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Warriors (2-6, 1-6 Southwest) to a 34-26 home win over Sierra Vista (1-8, 1-6) on Thursday.

Mason, a senior, had touchdown runs of 53, 10, 11, 63 and 35 yards, and Western’s defense forced three turnovers (one fumble and two interceptions).

David Scheref led Sierra Vista with three receiving touchdowns.
