Mora scores five times as Trailblazers roll

Durango's Julio Mora rushed for three touchdowns and caught two, and the Trailblazers (5-1, 4-0 Southwest) defeated visiting Spring Valley (2-3, 1-2) 63-28 on Friday.

Mora carried for 108 yards on 17 carries, with touchdowns of 4, 25 and 38 yards, and caught scoring passes of 45 and 70.

Chase Roberts passed for 242 yards and four scores, including a  55-yarder to Winston Williams during a 28-point third quarter that carried Durango.

Spring Valley’s Jordan Cox passed for 165 yards, with touchdowns of 12, 14 and 37. Austyn Wallace ran for 135 yards on 13 carries, including a 64-yard score.
