Pahrump Valley storms past Western at home

Dylan Coffman had 168 all-purpose yards, two rushing touchdowns and one passing touchdown to lead Pahrump Valley’s football team to a 40-6 home win over Western on Friday night.

Corey Bergan had a 33-yard touchdown reception, Nico Velazquez had a 15-yard rushing touchdown, and David Roundy had a 1-yard rushing touchdown for the Trojans (4-4, 2-2 Class 3A Sunset League).

Pahrump’s DeAngelo Brown also had 75 rushing yards, and Casey Flennory had an interception for the Trojans.

Western dropped to 1-7, 0-4.
