GOLF: England leads Bulldogs to Northwest win
Hayley England carded a 13-over-par 85 at Silverstone on Tuesday to lead Centennial’s girls golf team to victory in a Northwest League match.
Kianna Arizmendi added an 86 for Centennial, which had a team score of 352. Desert Oasis was second with 383, followed by Bonanza at 389.
Cimarron-Memorial’s Rachel Larsen was the medalist with an 82.
Bonanza’s Rebecca Oertel shot 84.
Potter medalist in Sunrise League match
At Boulder City Municipal, Boulder City’s Lani Potter shot 14-over 86 to earn medalist honors in a Sunrise League match.
Tech’s Meghan Chase was second with a 92.
The Roadrunners were the only team to post a team score, shooting 436.
